At Vidyard we love two things – breaking new ground and making customers giddy. That’s why we are thrilled to announce the launch of our integration with our good friends at Eloqua.
Our integration with Eloqua enables two cool new capabilities for marketers. First, it lets you do lead capture using high value video content. We’ve seen lead capture done endlessly for white papers or ebooks but as more expert content is developed on video, having this video content accessed via email submission is a natural evolution.
Second, and this is the really exciting bit, the integration allows Eloqua users to identify customer viewing behaviors of all video content. Eloqua CTO and Co-Founder Steve Woods, who was a huge supporter of this initiative, told us that this visibility has been long overdue. “Eloqua customers have been able to integrate video into their marketing for some time now using YouTube but the video element has remained a black box,” said Woods. “Vidyard gives users full visibility into that black box to identify who’s watching, how long they’re watching and specifically what parts they watch. That’s the big reveal and a very powerful connection to help understand the buyer.”
On top of that, we had the opportunity to showcase the integration at the Eloqua Experience 2012 conference in Orlando last week and, as excited as we were with the breakthrough, it was the “giddiness” of the Eloqua users when they saw what was now possible that got us really stoked. The general reaction was “Whoa!”. Now that’s what we like to hear!
Building the tools that help marketers do more, learn more and achieve more with video content is our passion. If you haven’t already, I invite you to give us a whirl or let us show you how Vidyard can make a difference on your business.
Stay tuned for more exciting news – we’re just getting started!
