Hey folks, it’s Blake here to introduce our new five-part series about production – welcome to Video Production 101!

Because marketing teams are now creating video content in-house, we figured it was a great idea to launch a series designed to give a high-level understanding of the equipment you’ll need to shoot professional footage and enhance your video marketing projects.

This first episode focuses on a critical tool for creating content: the good ol’ video camera.

In my chat I cover the consumer and prosumer-level equipment you’ll need for various projects depending on the quality look you’re going for.

Each part of the Video 101 series will address a different aspect of video production with topics including: audio, lighting, setting up a shot, and editing.

Stay tuned for the next instalment and let us know what you think!
If you have any questions about cameras, or questions around future topics in the series, I’ll be keeping an eye on the comments below.
